Sydney Professional Corporate Photographer
I’m a Sydney Professional Corporate Photographer with more than 30 years experience in high end corporate photography, portrait photography, studio photography, industrial photography, aerial photography, editorial and magazine photography, interiors photography and architectural photography. I have my own photographic studio based in Sydney, but operating across Australia and internationally, I work with clients from all different industries. These include Government, property developers, architects, interior designers, corporate and enterprise clients, manufacturers, advertising and media. I’ve won a number of national and international photography awards. Before founding Brendan Read Photography, I was a senior in-house photographer for a number of major Australian newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald and the West Australian. For over 5 years I was the chief photographer for the Good Weekend magazine. I was also a photographic manager for the International Olympic Committee during the Sydney and Athens Olympic Games. After many years working in the media I’m used to working to tight deadlines with complicated briefs. I have a professional, no fuss approach that gets the job done. I produce images that have impact and capture the decisive moment – images that make a difference. I live above my studio in Alexandria. THE ZEBRAS. If you look closely at my logo, you’ll see it has black and white stripes in it. These are a reference to a painting of zebras at play, which was on the door to my darkroom back in the days before digital photography (the painting is by legendary Kenyan born artist Alexandra Spyratos). I still look back fondly on my black and white printing days.
